Welcome to PHC Home Care

Your local home care company for when care really matters

We are an independent domiciliary care agency based in the Harrow and surrounding area that has been providing personal care and support for housebound, elderly and disabled people within the comfort of their own home, since 2006.

As a result of old age, debilitating illness or reduced ability, people often find it difficult to cope with their own personal care needs and domestic responsibilities. At PHC Home Care we tailor our services to suit the needs of the individual with the primary objective of helping them to carry on life as normal as possible.

It is very easy in today’s hectic and fast moving world, for the needs of people that cannot manage their basic needs at home to be overlooked and often shied away from. We like to think that our carers provide not just help but friendship and support as well with many of the things that most of us take for granted in our daily lives.

When inviting someone into your home for short or long term help, it is important to get to know and trust them and to have confidence in the support they will be providing. We will always find time for a chat and a cup of tea and talk through how our service is working, with both the person receiving support as well as family members.

We want to ensure total peace of mind for every one of the people we support and above all, make sure that they feel genuinely cared for, respected and that they really matter.

A service built on care experience and training

When passing over responsibility to carry out what are often very personal tasks, both the cared for and their families want to be sure that this responsibility is only going to be given to a trusted and qualified person.

The PHC Home Care team are all highly skilled and experienced carers with many having worked in both the private and public care sectors. All carers receive regular training and assessments to ensure the best possible quality of care provision and high standards at all times.

The PHC team is led by Evelyn A-Kum, a healthcare professional with over 20 years of experience as a District Nurse. Evelyn has dedicated her life to supporting others and founded PHC Home Care for that very reason.
